I recently installed a trial of DPM and registered it for backups with Azure. After evaluating we decided to go a different route, and the DPM server was de-provisioned. Now we have a new server with the same name as the old DPM server, and we'd like to use that with Azure Backup without DPM. I've removed the old server and registered the new server with Azure, but when I browse the Azure portal I still see the type as "SC Data Protection Manager" and cannot view protected items, even though this new server has no DPM installed on it.
Is there any way to remove the DPM flag from our new server?
