Catalog failure 0x80131500 with the current agent

I am using the agent 2.0.9028.0. I believe its the current one. I have a windows 2008 server. I have been running the backup for a few days successfully. I started receiving Catalog failure 0x80131500. A restart of the backup services will fix the problem temporarily.  Most recently the failed files were all from the same sub folder and were of .doc type. I saw the minor warnings alert, checked the list of files, restarted the service, ran a new backup. I have read many of the other posts. But those are older posts with older agents. Is there still an issue with this? There was a lot of discussion with this in 2014 and 2015. I have NOT tried any of the fixes that were mentioned in other posts. I saw no evidence that the fixes were working. Suggestions...?
