Scheduler Failures

I cannot get the Azure Backup schedule to work.

I have gone through the documentation a number of times (https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/documentation/articles/backup-configure-vault/) and have wasted hours of my time over the past week trying to find a solution.

I found instructions on changing my script Execution Policy and done that, to no avail.

Selecting "Backup Now" in the Microsoft Azure Backup app works every time, but I cannot get the scheduled job to work.  The Scheduled Task interface of Windows Server shows the job as firing and completing, but there is no acknowledgement in the Backup interface that it worked.  After performing an initial manual backup, I created a new text file in the folder that I am testing with -- just in case it doesn't bother showing a result if no files were changed. No dice.  I started a recovery process as well to see if maybe the file would show up there, but I don't have any recovery option for my other scheduled backup times I've attempted, just that initial manual backup.

I am trying to start a process of converting much of my company's IT infrastructure to the cloud, this was supposed to be the easy first step, but it is not an encouraging one.  Can I get some assistance troubleshooting this?
