Azure backup failed

Azure backup failed with below reason.

Could not perform the operation as VM no longer exists. Stop protecting virtual machine without deleting backup data. More details at http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=808124

Contacted MS, below is the response. 

and it is communication error.  You can try to fix it by deleting the vm snapshot extension and then click backup now – this will reinstall the extension. If this doesn’t work, you will need to open a new case

In the NEW portal, go to the vm – Settings – Extensions – right click the ellipsis  and delete.



BUT I COULD NOT SEE HIGHLIGHTED EXTENSION ON MY VM, SO I HAVE TRIED TO ADD STILL NO LUCK I COULD NOT SEE IN EXTENSTION LIST.

ANY HELP IS APPRECIATED!
