We have a deduplicated Win2012R2 volume that is being backed up with Azure Backup. The client agent is reporting an error on some files but without enough information to state why there is an error (in the CloudBackup Event Log, Event ID 11, Category None). The logs show only warnings on the file that that the backup failed on, also without any detailed information as to why reading the file failed. The file server is hosted on a VMware vCenter server. The backup agent fails every time it runs on this server.
Other Win2012R2 volumes are backing up successfully, and are not deduplicated.
Is there a known issue with deduplicated volumes?
