From @MooseTeeth1 via Twitter:
We had a customer ask us some questions via Twitter. They have Azure Backup running on a 2008 R2 Machine and want to backup a 2012 Domain Controller Server. They also tried remote installing the backup agent on the 2012 machine and indicate that it failed as they can’t seem to locate install files for a DPM agent to interface with the 2012 R2 Azure Backup to allow the backup. Can anyone help with these questions regarding DPM:
- As a subscriber to Azure Backup, do I need to purchase System Center for each machine I want to backup?
- Where can I download *THE FILE* DpmAgentInstaller.exe without purchasing System Center so I can manage the DPM and use Azure?
Thanks,@AzureSupport
