Unable to delete Recovery Services Vault

Hello all,

I'm having a strange issue related to deleting a recovery services vault.

When I first started backing up the servers I was using the backup option from the menu on the Machines directly however I then decided that rather than have multiple recovery services vaults and multiple policies etc, it made more sense to put them into one.

So, I created a new recovery services vault, stopped the backup on each existing machine and deleted the recovery services vaults. This worked for all except one recovery services vault, which may or may not be related to the fact it's running an SQL Server (from Marketplace).

When I try to delete it the error is:

Vault cannot be deleted as there are existing resources within the vault. Please ensure there are no backup items, protected servers or backup management servers associated with this vault. Unregister the following containers associated with this vault before proceeding for deletion : SQL-US01
Unregister all containers from the vault and then retry to delete vault

This server is not however being backed up to this vault from what I can see, it is successfully backing up to the new recovery services vault.

I have tried in PowerShell and I've also used https://resources.azure.com/ but neither appear to show any containers.

The only thing that IS present is on the Recovery Services Vault for the one I wish to delete there is 1 item in Workload in Azure under:

Recovery Services vaults -> SQL-US01 -> Backup Infrastructure

When I click on it, it does list the server under "Protected Servers (Workload in Azure VM)" and there is a delete option however this appears to be more "delete the server" than delete that backup item.

Any suggestions on how I can try to find what containers it believes it has currently attached?

Thanks
