We've installed MABS to backup our SQL backups to cloud and also to have a point in time restore option.
It's great but I have couple of questions regarding the post installation setup which was done incorrectly during the install.
- I didn't change locations for DPM cache meaning that now my C drive is filling up with space and D drive is sitting there with 500GB free. Can the cache location be changed after the install or do I have to re-install the application?
- Can DPM cache be on the same drive where the DPM storage pool is? E.g. I want to have DPM cache on D:\ as well as my storage pool to be D:\ drive. When I added Storage pool it formatted the disk so I'm not 100% sure if this is something that can be done?
Another question is about backups.
I have multiple servers with different timezones. When I create a protection group and set full backup time to be 11pm, is that time based on the server where the MABS is running or the target server time where the agent is installed?
