Suddenly getting "Job could not be started as another job was in progress"

For some reason I have been getting these for last few days:I rebooted the system this morning around 04:00.  It looks like a job is starting now but I'm wondering if it has to do with this:

I just saw this and I'm wondering if it is trying to do a new backup (which seems to take about 24 hours) as opposed to the scheduled backup it normally does.  I have scheduled backups on this server running every day at 01:00, 13:00 and 18:00.  These have been running pretty much without fail for over a year now.  But I have never seen this error nor the message above before.  

Anybody know what's going on?
