Greetings,
I have a problem with azure backup, specifically the backup of the System State(the data backup work just fine).
It worked until a month or two ago when it started to return this error: "Windows Server failed to take system state backup because a system writer reported an invalid path. Windows Server Backup error message: None of the items included in the backup
were backed up.
Detailed error: The filename, directory name, or volume label syntax is incorrect HResult:80780049 DeatiledHResult:8007007B Follow the guidelines from : https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid:859092 and retry the backup (0x18770)"
Then I go ahead and open the WSB Failure Logs link and this is the message that I get: "Error in backup of C:\windows\\systemroot\ during enumerate: Error [0x8007007b] The filename, directory name, or volume label syntax
is incorrect."
I followed the most generic tips from azure, but most importantly, I followed this guide, which is specific to my error: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4053355/microsoft-azure-recovery-services-agent-system-state-backup-failure
I deleted the backslash as instructed and then retried the backup. Nothing changed.
I look forward to any possible insight or advice.
Thanks
