Backup to Azure over express route

Hi all,

I have Azure express route and I would like to use it for Azure backup.  As far as I know backup agent communicate with Azure backup vault over public internet. Question is how can I make sure Azure backup is using express route to send data over to Azure backup vault ?

Any hints ?
