We have a physical Windows 2008 R2 Terminal server that is storing 200Gb of data files that we would like to backup to the Azure cloud. We perform local DR backups so its purely a file based backup and intend to keep file versions longer in the cloud, may
6 months worth. I have a couple of questions.
Will the Azure backup agent install and work on a Windows 2008 R2 terminal server?
When attempting to install the Agent on a SBS 2008 R2 server as a trial process it wants to install Microsoft Virtual Server 2005 and updates. All the video's I have watched just show .net 4.5 and Powershell so I am hesitant on proceeding, not sure what
the Virtual server 2005 is for.
