I have a 2008 R2 virtual server in Azure, and I have been using "recovery services" to back it up for about a month. Everything has been working fine until 9/15. On that day a second backup job was added mysteriously (I did not make any changes). The second backup job fires off about 30 seconds or so after my regular backup job. My regular backup job finishes correctly, but the second backup job fails every day with the message "Another operation is currently in progress on this item. Please wait until the previous operation is completed, and then retry." This makes sense since my first job is already running, but where did this second job come from? How do I get rid of it?
My first backup job is set to fire off at 3:30am daily, retain backups for 30 days, and retain weekly backups for 104 weeks.
