Hi,
I have Azure IaaS VM's running in production environment. Can I use the backup vault procedure mentioned here - https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/documentation/articles/backup-azure-vms/ to take the backup of production VM's especially when feature in preview?
Also do we need to shut down the VM's to take backup using this feature? If yes, what will be time period of downtime?
If we don't need to shut down VM's for backup and can be taken while VMs are in running mode then does it affects / creates any performance issue in production running VM?
If a VM has 2-3 data disks attached can Azure backup vault take the backup?
If VM has 2-3 data disks attached and all are STRIPED to represent single drive on Azure VM then can Azure backup vault take the backup?
Please clarify.
