We have started to use Microsoft Azure Backup Server. Both our technical conversation with out MS Rep and Documentation seems to indicate that 2003R2 is supported on Microsoft Azure Backup Server -- in fact most documentation informs you to refer to the DPM Documentation. However, I am unable to install the DPMAgentInstaller_X86.exe. It appears that some of the components in the installer are x64 only.
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Azure Backup\DPM\DPM\ProtectionAgents\RA\11.0.50.0\i386\DPMAgentInstaller_x86.exe is the file which I am referring to.
I am having major difficulties in finding any updated documentation to validate if 2008 and 2003R2 are actually supported with MABS, though I know they can be protected under DPM 2012SP1 at certain UR levels.
Has anyone got any information either way? Perhaps we were just misinformed when we spoke to MS directly.
