We are using Recovery Services to backup many of our Azure VM's and most of them are working but there are 2 which are unable to complete the initial backup. If I look under "protected items - Azure Virtual Machine" I see the status is (Protected Initial Backup Pending). I have let it go for 2 weeks now and the backup is still hung. If I look under "Jobs" and then look at the failed job the reason given is that it failed to take the Snapshot and then under "Error Details" I see:

Please retry the operation in a few minutes. If the problem persists, contact Microsoft Support. |
So far we have tried removing and re-registering the 2 affected VM's but they still hang on the initial backup. I reached out to Azure Developer support but they had indicated to post in this forum as the Recovery Services is still in Preview.
Any assistance would greatly be appreciated!
