I have been trying to evaluate Azure Backup and I was able to install and do an initial backup of our file server with 600 gigs of data.
Recovery of the data is not an issue.
The problem I'm having is that after the initial backup and one scheduled backup, all others have failed.
Originally I was getting the error: The file system structure on the disk is corrupt and unusable. Please run the chkdsk utility on the volume CB-{1B30917A-9246-4ABA-. Which seems to state that there was a problem with the VHD created by the Backup Agent.
I uninstalled the agent, then re-installed and re-registered the server. Now when I attempt a backup I get the following errors:
Unable to mount \Program Files\Microsoft Azure Recovery Services Agent\Scratch\VHDs\{1B30917A-9246-4ABA-83C7-EB: The Virtual Hard Disk footer signature is invalid
Unable to mount \Program Files\Microsoft Azure Recovery Services Agent\Scratch\VHDs\{1B30917A-9246-4ABA-83C7-EB: It is not a valid Virtual Hard Disk.
I am running this on Windows Storage Server 2008 SP2.
Any Help or Ideas appreciated.
